In short
Stock'n'Roll Home works without an account and without a server: everything you enter stays on your phone. We collect no personal data and use no analytics, advertising or tracking.

When the app uses the network
- Product name lookup: only when you tap "Look up the name online", the app sends the barcode number to Open Food Facts (a free public database) to get the product name and brand. No other data is sent. The Open Food Facts privacy policy applies.
- No other communication: no statistics, advertising or automatic crash reports.
Phone permissions
- Camera: only to read barcodes. Images are neither saved nor sent.
- Notifications: for expiry alerts and the shopping reminder, generated on the phone. You can turn them off in the app or in the phone settings.
- Internet: only for the product lookup above.
Android backup
If Google backup is on, Android may include the app data in your Google account backup, according to Google's settings and terms. You can turn it off in the phone settings.
Retention and deletion
Data stays on the phone until you delete it: Settings › Reset data (a copy is saved on the phone first), or by uninstalling the app. We hold no copies of your data.
Your rights
Since we neither receive nor store personal data, we have no data to show, correct or delete: you manage it directly in the app. For any question write to support@stocknroll.app. You can always lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
Children
The app is not specifically aimed at children and collects no data from any user.
Changes
If the app changes how it handles data (for example with an optional cloud service), we will update this policy before the change and announce it in the app.
